It provides relief from the symptoms and promotes healing.Abenta 40mg Capsule is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. It belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep on taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly. You can increase the efficiency of the treatment by eating smaller meals more often and avoiding caffeinated drinks (like tea and coffee), and spicy or fatty foods.The most common side effects observed with this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain. Abenta 40mg Capsule prevents acidity associated with use of painkillers. It is also used to treat a disease associated with excessive acid production in the stomach known as Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES). It works by reducing the amount of acid made by your stomach and thus relieves your symptoms.| Q. How long does it take for Abenta 40mg Capsule to work?::: You should start to feel better within 2 to 3 days. It may take up to 4 weeks for Abenta 40mg Capsule to work properly so you may still have some symptoms during this time.| Q. Is a single dose of Abenta 40mg Capsule sufficient?::: No, a single dose may not be sufficient. However, with only a few doses of Abenta 40mg Capsule you may get relief with the symptoms. Abenta 40mg Capsule is usually needed only for a short term or upto 2 weeks for heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux. However, if need arises, such as for treating peptic ulcer disease and Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES), Abenta 40mg Capsule may be prescribed for a long term duration as well.
