In Treatment of Severe allergic reactions Nucort 20mg Tablet is a corticosteroid. In addition to the many other benefits, it can be used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions. This medicine works by reducing the inflammation associated with allergies. It is a highly effective medicine. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor to get most benefit from it.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nucort 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Nucort 20mg Tablet is a steroid. It is used to treat a wide variety of medical conditions such as severe allergic reactions, allergic conditions, asthma, rheumatic disorder, skin and eye disorders, and nephrotic syndrome. It suppresses the immune system and provides relief from inflammation.Nucort 20mg Tablet should be taken with food to avoid an upset stomach. It should be swallowed whole with water at the same time(s) each day. Your doctor will decide the dose and how often you should take them. This may change from time to time depending on how well they are working. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine.The most common side effect of this medicine is reduction in bone density, weight gain, mood changes, upset stomach, and behavioural changes. Talk to your doctor if these bother you or do not go away. Taking Nucort 20mg Tablet can also make it harder for you to fight off infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as fever or sore throat.Let your doctor know about any medical issues you have, especially poor blood circulation, diabetes and immune system problems and about other medicines you are taking (particularly steroids).

Nucort 20mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. | - Driving : UNSAFE
Nucort 20mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Nucort 20mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Nucort 20mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as careful dose selection and regular monitoring of kidney function tests are advised while you are taking this medicine. | - Liver : CAUTION
Nucort 20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Nucort 20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Nucort 20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
